The Healthy Accountant: Part One

As the holidays approach and the year comes to an end, we’ll change our focus from that of the health of your financials and account reconciliation processes to that of your health.

Step One:  Being Active More Often (It’s not good for accountants to be sitting for a majority of their day.)

Doctor Argye Hillis, director of the cerebrovascular division at Johns Hopkins Medicine, says “exercise is also one of the best things you can do to help prevent dementia and other cognitive changes.”

While avoiding sitting for long periods of time may not qualify as exercise, in many ways it has similar benefits.
