Thank You Payroll Team!

In all my years of experience, I have never gone out of my way to thank those behind the calculations and allocations that comprise my paycheck.

You know how it is, when you first start at a company your check is hand delivered until electronic deposit is established.  I always thanked the payroll person at that moment and followed their directions, noting their concern, to check the insurance and other deductions.

Once the hand delivery stopped I never thanked that person again. Not even once, for a period of about 50 weeks until the insurance premiums changed and again, we were all encouraged to check the figures.

So this Thanksgiving I say THANK YOU PAYROLL for safely and accurately paying my wages. (Cheers to finding the time tell your payroll team “thanks”.)
